Point Blank (1994)

Point Blank (or Gun Bullet in Japan), has been with us since we opened in 2014 and has always been one of our most popular cabs. It’s a well-balanced 2-player shooter which focuses on fun but competitive mini-games, also with a very enjoyable 1 player mode thanks to the wide variation in difficulty. Reflexes and trigger speed are a must if you are to beat your fellow combatant and save the game’s mascots Dr Don & Dr Dan from an untimely demise!

Voted 7^th best arcade game of all time in Electronic Gaming Monthly’s 1997 poll, it certainly remains a firm favourite with gamers new and old! Over the years some of the 4Q staff have got exceptionally good at this game, with our former cook Ethan reportedly topping 200,000, but still a ways off the recently improved world record, so get practicing!
