FAQsHave a question?
Everyone needs a little help now and then!
How do I play the games?
All our arcade machines run on US Quarters, which can be purchased at a cost of £1.50 for 4. A game credit usually costs 1 quarter, except light gun games, drivers or pinball machines, which are set to 2 quarters per game credit!
You don’t need to reserve or book a specific arcade machine- they are run like old school arcades- if someones playing one already you want to play on, queue up behind- it wont be long!
Our console games are free to play if they are not already booked, but book ahead (with a fee) for exclusive use. These booths are great for parties and small events.
Can I bring my own quarters?
Yes you can!
Do I have to book a table? How do I book?
We encourage bookings during our peak times to avoid disappointment, but walk-ins are fine. Peak times are Thusday – Saturday. We also encourage bookings for larger groups and for console booths.
Booking a table is simple, just go here. Depending on the type of enquiry you can directly book a table via the form, or send an enquiry to our bookings team, who will be in touch rapidly! Private hire details are also listed, but if you are not sure what you need or have any bookings related questions just drop us an email at email@example.com
What about parties? Work bookings? Do you hire out bigger areas?
We regularly host parties – from children’s birthdays to full on work outings!
Most of the time we will tailor to your needs but to see our packages go to “Book Now” and “Private Hire” here.
If you are not sure what you need or have any bookings related questions just drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
We do host children’s parties but usually early in the day- we get too busy as an adult playground later on!
What games do you have?
You can see a current list of arcade games that we have at each site on the ‘Our Games’ page or on the individual page for each location. If your enquiry is about console games please get in touch but we have most of the ‘obvious’ titles for each system.
How do I get a console booth?
These are available at our Hackney Wick, Elephant Park, Bristol and Newcastle bars! You can pre-book these booths to secure your spot. They cost £8ph during peak hours, and £5ph at all other times.
You cannot auto-book the booths so please request one while making your booking. Please note that there is usually a 5-person min for booths at the weekend and 4 during the week.
Can I book an outside table?
Our Hackney Wick venue has plentiful outside seating, including a covered and heated area. This is smaller during the winter. Our Elephant & Castle location also has outdoor seating and will soon have more. Please use the specific ‘Outside Table’ option on the bookings form or drop us a line.
Is there an age limit?
At all our venues, under 18s are only allowed if accompanied by a responsible adult. Our venues are over 18s only after 19:00.
We operate a strict challenge 25 policy so please bring I.D. We reserve the right to refuse admission at all times.
What are your opening hours, where can I find you etc?
You can go to our individual location pages and find all this info here.
Are you dog friendly?
We are dog friendly and our venues have drinking bowls for dogs. We do expect dog owners to use their own discretion i.e. keep dogs on a leash and only bring well-behaved dogs with you.
Are you wheelchair accessible?
Elephant and Here East are step free with everything on one floor and accessible toilet. Peckham groundfloor is accessible with an accessible toilet. Peckham upstairs (console room) and downstairs (cellar bar) are via stairs only. Bristol is not fully accessible at this time – please contact us for more details.
