Rampage (1986)

Released in 1986 by Bally Midway, this 3-player arcade machine not only looks the part with its cartoon like graphics on the control panel and monitor surround, but the game itself is unique, original and still great fun to play with friends today.

Choose from Lizzie the lizard, Ralph the werewolf or George the gorilla and start flattening the city! Climb the walls of buildings and smash them down. Grab through the apartment windows and get a quick bite to eat in the form of a person having a bath, just watch out for the endless assault by the army and don’t hit the commercial signs, electrocution will occur!

Rampage has been so popular over the years and was ported to many consoles. The Sega Master system version in particular was excellent, our arcade repair expert Tom was a big fan and and it’s one of few games he actually completed.  There was also a film based on the game released in 2018, although, maybe the film should be forgotten!
